My wife and I took a trip to Paris and Amsterdam for Christmas and New Year’s Eve. It was right after the terrorist shooting in a nightclub in Paris, but we decided to go anyway.
Security was intense in Paris, but the city lived up to its reputation. We stayed near the Eiffel Tower and were there for the New Year’s celebration, which was a little unnerving to be in such big crowds. For the purposes of this post I am only including photos of the Eiffel Tower. I will write an entry for Paris another day. I think it is my wife’s favorite place.
